First update of 2008. W00t!

This week, I was hit with an idea I wanted to tackle, after seeing countless other wallpapers designed by fellow Gamefaqers, and so I decided to do my own, using all the knowledge I learned in my business.

And what other game can it be other than Super Smash Bros. Brawl! People love speculating who the next guy's gonna be. I say be patient dudes!!! This wheel idea is based on the Jump Super Stars DS title cover.

Now of course not all characters are here. That's why left the spaces blank. Since I don't know the exact number of players this time around, I guessed, but left some space to adjust as much as I could.

Added the ever so sexy Sheik to the roster.
I think when we discover the full roster, it won't fit my pre-determined set of pie slices, but no big deal since I can re-create a new one from scratch.

I thinned out the black outlines. I thought they were too thick, and I also sharpened it.

Fixed the Brawl Logo so that it would have less white pixels.

Added a Shine to the Smash Bros. logo in the middle.

This time, I added Ness and the ever so sexy Marth to the roster, thanks to Dojo adding in their Spoiler Bios (but then again, you knew these guys would be in all along...up until now....).

In order to prevent myself from wasting time creating another pie, I've decided to squeeze in Sheik and Zero Suit with their counterparts to make space. Sorry if you guys don't like this move. If you want a wallpaper with just one specific character in the slice, e-mail me with the request.

Funny thing, when I made the slices, I guessed a random number to make them by repeating the slices over and over around a circle without measuring. It came up to 34, and this was BEFORE we found out there would be 35. I thought there would have been like 40, but oh well. Funny little guess, I guess.

With some small adjustments, I might just be able to add ONE more slice in the circle. But I'll do that once the Dojo adds the 35th character. Enjoy.

Whoa, we are just getting a bunch of new secret characters all this month aren't we? Well as of now, we got Falco, and last Friday, we got Luigi, but now I got the time to slip them into my wheel of justice.

Also, I fixed the number slices, so now there is an even 35 right here, so from here on out, everything is cake in adding the characters. Enjoy version 4 guys. Now I must sleep.

Added Lucario and Captain Falcon. I decided to completely expand on the slices, in order to add Sheik and ZZSamus into their own slots, so the circle now has 37 slices rather then the original 35. Also, I went to back and got some much better quality images on the characters, so now this wallpaper has a much crispier, high def feeling IMO. The slices are now blurry/broken pixel-free.

Finally, I have Brawl!! And it kicks a lot of ass despite all the small changes and transition differences since Melee. Been so busy going through everything to get Sonic. Bowser easily has the best improvements.

But enough of that. On with the art. I managed to glimpse around Dojo enough to see that it updated Mr. Game and Watch and R.O.B., 2 really old veterans, and the latter of which is a product, and not really a character to appear in a video game (Not counting his cameos/playable appearances afterwards like Mario Kart).

G&W was really DIFFICULT to place on the slice, since he easily stands in such a horizontal matter, that its really hard to squeeze him in a vertical slice, but I tried, but it still leaves me unsatisfied.

That said, I'm really glad this design is fleshing out much better then how I imagined it. Now to Brawl!!!!

~~~~March 31, 2008 Update~~~~
After a very long absence, I'm finally back to complete the circle, which I've dubbed Brawlers United. Still dorky, but then again, the design was made to stand out more then the title.

Toon Link, Ganondorf, Wolf, and some other guy I forgot has been added to the Dojo!, and so I now managed to get the real pics behind the characters. I never would've imagined Wolf being last. It would've been much more epic if it was Sonic, but then again, Brawl wouldn't have the hype it received the day we went to grab the game.

Now that the circle is complete, I will start work on changing the ratio of this wallpaper. Any size you want, I'll make it, so either e-mail me, or send me a note. Also, if you want me to spin the circle so that you're desired character is at the top, I can do that too. For now, I'll be working on other variatons for a background.

Now on to the fan artworks....
